When I jammed my right thumb, I had to go to therapy for six months and when I was at therapy they told me I had messed up some of the tendons in my thumb, and because I am right handed, and use that hand the most it was threaten for me to do hair and write with my thumb. After six months of therapy I was able to return to work full snip, ( when I was in therapy I was only able to work part age doing light duty). I was working for about a year when my right thumb started to bother me again, but instead of pear-shaped my manager or calling the therapist and let them whap I was having trouble with my thumb again. I started doing hair a little different as I say, when I would do in dry or curl someones hair I wouldnt use my wrist same I should, I would adjust the steering I held on to the turnaround dryer and curling iron so my right thumb was non hurt. I started to put more pressure on my right jostle non knowing I was doing this to comprise the pressure and pain off my thumb, which was helping me, but very bad on my cubital joint. I was working my new way by adjusting the way I held everything for over three months when my elbow started to swell real bad to appoint where the swelling would not go down to this day my right arm is so far a little bigger then the left arm .
